Family Camp 2015

Last weekend we had our annual Family Camp retreat at Camp Sagitawa and despite the rain it was an incredible weekend. It was great to gather in the chapel together and worship and learn from the Word of God. Pastor Kalonga challenged us Saturday morning about the importance of mentorship and Pastor Andrew challenged us Saturday night about the need for community. 

There were soccer games, baseball games, archery, riflery, ziplines, and many more games to keep us entertained on Saturday. The highlight of the weekend by far was on Sunday morning. There were over 200 of us gathered together on the beach taking communion together and witnessing 8 individuals profess faith in Jesus, getting baptized in the cold waters of Moberly Lake. It was an amazing weekend of growing deeper in community with one another and being challenged in our walk with Jesus. You will not want to miss next years!
