Is there any other parent out there who thinks this summer is going considerably faster than years before? I spoke with a parent today whose child is starting one of her fall/winter activities next weekend. “Where have the summer carefree days gone?” she lamented. I am asking the same thing. I just can’t keep up, never mind catch up!

We have continued Kids Zone throughout the summer this year. It has been so amazing to share the gospel and some theology in the way of learning the names of God. We have lots of new kids and welcome all of you!

Fall is quickly approaching and we are working hard to prepare for the season of 2021/2022. We have done some big project things to prepare for a great season with kids ages 2 to Grade 6. The classrooms have all been painted and the floor cleaned and polished. The resource room has new supplies and is ready for teachers to start.

We are really hoping to see more of you help us prepare for each Sunday and for the new season ahead.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

1. Pray. Please pray for us as we teach, support and enjoy your kids. Pray for more volunteers to come on to the team.

2. Please make sure you have filled out a paper registration. You can pick one up when you sign in your child on Sunday morning. You only need to fill out one of these forms once a year!

3. Pre-register your kids online. I just can’t emphasize enough how hugely helpful this is for us in preparation. It is also so much more efficient. On some Sundays, in the past, we have thrown supplies away and, on some Sundays, we have not had enough supplies prepared. We can plan activities much more meaningfully if we know how many kids are going to be there. AND, attendance monitoring is so much easier. 4. Sign your kids in on Sunday mornings between 8:45 and 9:15 or 10:45 and 11:15 at the office. This gives our attendance volunteers the opportunity to attend the service. You can look forward to more information about Family Sundays, Kids leading worship, Christmas concert practices, and maybe some visits from missionaries with the kids.

I am so, so excited about this new season. Please join us with commitment in anticipation for the coming year.
