We want to invite you to our NPMB Ladies Retreat coming up October 3rd and 4th. Our theme this year is ‘Sisters Across the Seasons: Growing Together in God’s Love.’ It’s going to be a beautiful weekend of connection, worship, journaling, painting, and encouragement. Our speaker is going to be Cher Dombowski, who most definitely has a heart for women’s ministry.

Registration is now open and closes September 22, so sign up and consider inviting a friend who would be blessed by a weekend together in God’s presence. There will be a $50 registration fee; you can  pick up a registration form at the Welcome Centre, the church office or print the form below and hand it in to the church office—we’d love to see you there!

Bio's of our speakers:

Cher Dombowsky’s greatest pride is being a wife, and mother of five children. She has spent the last decade pouring into women whenever God has allowed – whether through bible studies, mentoring, or the annual women’s event she founded in 2015 and continues to co-lead: “Abide Women’s Gathering”. She is currently the Executive Administrator for Living Hope Ranch, a ministry that supports teen girls who have experienced sexual trauma. Cher is known for her humorous, transparent, and uplifting writing and speaking style and loves to use her giftings to encourage the women around her to discover their own God-given passions, purposes, and potential. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 21 years and lives on an acreage in the beautiful Saskatchewan prairies where she and her family are active in their local church, the Moose Jaw Church of God.

Melody Braun, Retired educator, wife, mother and grandmother. Originally from Saskatchewan Melody moved to Fort St John almost 40 years ago with her husband Jake. After working for almost 30 years in education she now enjoys the freedom to volunteer in her grandchildren’s schools and get back to the classroom, teaching once in a while. In honour of her mother’s out of the box thinking (I was allowed to play in all the sports I wanted AND was expected to learn to play an instrument) Melody will be sharing her love of journaling.

Whitney Braun is a local creative passionate about painting, writing, motherhood, and the Lord. She loves to share about her not-so-typical motherhood journey and inspire others through all facets of her art.
